Terms of service
Last updated 26 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and [BUSINESS NAME] for using TidyCheck. We have kept them short and fair.
Using TidyCheck
The free checklist tool is open to anyone. TidyCheck Pro is a service for professional cleaners and is free while in beta. You agree to use TidyCheck lawfully and not to misuse it, disrupt it, or attempt to access other people's accounts or data.
Your account
Pro accounts sign in by a link sent to your email — there is no password to lose. Keep access to your email secure, as anyone who can read it can sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Payment
TidyCheck Pro is free while in beta. We may introduce paid plans in future; if we do, we will tell you in advance and you will be able to choose whether to continue. We will never charge you without your explicit agreement.
Handling your clients' data
When you save a client or property in TidyCheck, you remain in charge of that information — in data-protection terms, you are the "controller" and we are your "processor". This means we will only handle your clients' data to provide TidyCheck to you, keep it secure, not use it for our own purposes, and delete it when you close your account. In return, you agree to store only the details you genuinely need and to have a proper basis for keeping them. Our full data practices are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Availability
We work hard to keep TidyCheck running, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Please keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose — the "Download my data" button in your dashboard is there for exactly this.
Ending your use
You can stop using TidyCheck and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that misuses the service or breaks these terms.
Our liability
TidyCheck is a tool that helps you record cleaning work; it does not carry out the work or guarantee its quality. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms we will update the date above. Questions? Email us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
